Internet Rater (m/w/d)

Welocalize is an award-winning localization and data transformation company. We are currently building one of the world's largest Internet Rating Programs and want you to join!

As an Internet Rater, you will review and grade internet content to help online engines work better. In other words, you'll tell the engine how good or bad it is performing based on user keywords.

This role is great for people who: 

• Surf the internet daily 
• Use major search engines frequently 
• Know what people want based on a few keywords 
• Enjoy researching topics online   

There is no formal interview for this job! No phone calls, no waiting, and no wasting time wondering whether you got the job or not. 

Instead, you will be guided through a self-paced and automated recruitment process. 

The recruitment steps are as follows: 

1. Candidate Application
2. Welocalize Review Application
3. Candidate Learning, Assessment, and Qualification
4. Welocalize Client Review
5. Final Approval

The hiring process can take up to 14 days to complete. 

• Target Locale: German (Germany)
• Pay Rate: Paid per task (approx. €14.00 per hour)
• Location: Germany, Remote/home office/work from home – Note: Even though the position is remote, you must reside in the country that is noted in this description. This will be automatically checked during the hiring process.
• Hours: Set your own schedule based on the following – Minimum commitment is 10 hours per week. You can choose to work up to 20 hours per week (if project needs allow) – Note: Data volumes can vary week to week. Some weeks there is more data to review, other weeks less.
• Start Date: ASAPâ€Ì"
• Employment Type: Independent Contractor, Freelance
• Project Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension). 

• Fluent in German (written and spoken)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) 
• Strong understanding of pop culture in Germany
• Reliable computer system and internet connection 
• Familiar understanding of how to use online search engines 
• Sign a standard Non-Disclosure Agreement and Service Level Agreement
